Safe Swimming School teaches private 30 minute lessons at your home pool or community pool in the town of Palm Beach, on Palm Beach island. The town is the island east of the city of West Palm Beach. It is not West Palm Beach, and it is not the name of the whole county. Palm Beach County is the wider area we serve, including lessons in West Palm Beach.
Lessons at Your Palm Beach Home or Community Pool
We come to your home pool or community pool on Palm Beach island. Families on the North End, in Midtown, and on the South End can take lessons in the water they already use, without leaving the island for a lesson on the mainland. Call 561-236-8260 or ask about an opening.
Swim Skills Your Child Practices
Lessons practice water skills first, then strokes. Swimmers practice roll to back, float and rest, and swim to the wall.
Swim skills are one layer of protection, alongside adult supervision and pool barriers.
Infants to Adults, Same Instructor Every Lesson
We teach infants from 3 months to adults. You have the same instructor every lesson. Siblings can share one package and take turns in the same visit.
Safe Swimming School was founded by Cortney Berry, who has 20 years of swim-teaching experience, with cofounder Anson Ainsworth, who has 18 years of swim-teaching experience. Our instructors are certified, and we are fully insured.

Packages and Pricing
Lessons are 30 minutes. Packages are 8 lessons for $520, 12 for $720, or 20 for $1,100. A single lesson is $75 and can be credited toward a package. Siblings can share one package.
Annual registration ($35/$50/$60) is waived on lock in packages bought by December 31, 2026.
